AB Ingenieros is a software development company that provides a variety of services to its clients. The company wanted to create a new website that would showcase its products and services, as well as provide a platform for clients to manage their payments and contracts.

I was part of the team that designed and developed the new website. We worked closely with the company to understand their needs and goals, and we created a website that was both visually appealing and user-friendly.

The target public for the project is businesses that need software development services. The website will be used to showcase products and services, as well as to provide a platform for clients to manage their payments and contracts.

Research

These are some of the personas created to bring us characteristics of the target public:

Juanita (32, F) - Bakery owner (CO)

She is tech-savvy and wants to be able to manage her website on her own.

Maria (39, F) - Marketing Manager (CO)

She is responsible for developing and executing marketing campaigns. She wants to use software development to create interactive marketing campaigns and track the results.

The research process began after the minimal viable product (MVP) was completed (based solely on hypothesis) and launched on the website. The research was aimed at gathering data and insights about user behavior and preferences to refine and improve the website's design and features.

User surveys, testing, and analytics informed research. Surveys captured demographics, preferences, and pain points. Testing observed user experience, identified issues, and gained feedback on improvements. Analytics tracked behavior, patterns, pages visited, time spent, and drop-off points.

Work Process

Gathering user data led to changes improving the site. User insights shaped wireframes outlining a new design. Wireframe feedback refined them.

Mockups visually demonstrated the design which added new features like payment management. Testing ensured features worked well.

After launching, feedback identified issues addressed through monitoring, testing, and iteration. Continuous feedback and refinement optimally met users' needs.

Approach

The website development was made with a user-centered design mindset and focus on creating a user-friendly experience that would provide clients with quick access to the information they needed. The iterative process of testing and refining allowed the team to continuously improve the user experience and ensure that the website was meeting the needs of its target audience.
